1917
by Alex Thomas
An epic scale book musical set in revolutionary Russia. The ambitious musical score ranges from sweeping orchestral melodies to avant-garde jazz, and the show is packed with memorable ensemble scenes.

Swing heil!
by Alex Thomas
Hamburg, 1943. A group of young people living under Nazi rule meet secretly in an air raid bunker, where illegal jazz reigns supreme. But the war is closing in, and they need to decide what freedom really means. A studio musical for seven talented actors, packed with sultry jazz numbers, breakneck swing dancing and as much excitment as you can fit into 80 minutes!

The hobbit
by Alex Thomas and John Mann
'In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.'
London, during the Blitz. In an air raid bunker a boy is comforted by his grandfather, who tells him a story of a magical world of dwarves, elves, dragons and treasure. And into this world steps one small hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, who finds far more than he bargained for. An epic book musical for large cast, faithful to Tolkien's beloved book while condensing the narrative into two fast-paced hours, with fully orchestrated underscore.

The odyssiad
by Alex Thomas
An ambitious adaptation of the Iliad and the Odyssey, with a rock music score. It follows the hero Odysseus and his wife Penelope through the end of the Trojan war and to his eventual homecoming, with a parallel plot set on an archaeological dig at Mycenae in 1902.
A large ensemble piece with plenty of roles (singing and non-singing), puppetry, and epic set-pieces.
